Hardwood is reknown for its beauty, durability, ease of laying, easy to clean and it is highly fashionable.
Flooring has three classifications
CLASSIC GRADE - this grade is top of the range flooring with more consistent colouring and select timber used.
AUSTRALIANA GRADE - this grade is middle of the range with slight characteristics of the Natural grade.
NATURAL GRADE or Feature Grade - this grade has more natural timber characteristics eg knots, gum vein and variances in colour etc
Our showroom located on our premises in Whitbread street has been designed to show all grades across the timber range.

Local Production F11 hardwood is known for its strength and has been extensively used throughout the building trade for many years.
Main species are Blackbutt & Blue Gum with smaller mixes of Spotted Gum, Flooded Gum etc.
F11 hardwood is green (not dry) with an average shrink rate being between 6 & 9%.
F14 & F17 Green hardwood is only available by order. Hardwood can be dressed (planed) if customers require. |
